"A rose by any other names smells just as sweet." - This quote reminds me that no matter how our outward appearance is seen by others, that doesn't change the person we are inside. Hence, we can really be whoever we want to be in the big big world out there as long as we stay grounded within our personal intrinsic values as a person too.

Rosa is part of the abstract floral series that I started in 2020.
Rosa is created using impasto acrylic painting technique. Palette knife is the main tool used, alongside high quality medium and heavy bodied acrylic paint to create thick textured painting that glisten under the light. Each shadow and light reflected on the textured parts of the painting will reveal different vibe and ambience.
The overall feelings this painting emanates are that of peace, love and calm yet fiery passion.
